About Ankeny Youth Sports Alliance
The Iowa Sports Hub is a project brought to life by the Ankeny Youth Sports Alliance (AYSA).
Ankeny is thriving, and the AYSA is proud to be part of such a dynamic, growing community. But as the population has grown, one important need hasn't kept up: access to high-quality youth sports facilities.
Families across Central Iowa, especially those involved in lacrosse, ice sports, and softball, struggle to find enough local fields and venues. Too often, teams must travel long distances, even out of state, just to compete.
We're a nonprofit organization working to change that.
Our goal is to build a state-of-the-art sports complex that gives young athletes the opportunity to play, grow, and compete - right here in their own community.

The Iowa Sports Hub is a nonprofit project built entirely through private support - no tax dollars are funding this effort. The Ankeny Youth Sports Alliance (AYSA) is committed to building a lasting, year-round hub for its founding sports clubs and beyond. Motivated by the need for additional playing space for lacrosse, hockey, and other activities, we envision more than just a physical facility—we are creating a transformative, vibrant, and inclusive community dedicated to developing leadership and character in every participant, coach, and family.
